Finally scanned in my Dublin pics that were on my film camera [well the ones I have gotten back so far! Still more to come!!].

Another two shots of the Grand Canal on the southside of the city.

If you look closely at the left hand side of the second pic you can just about make out a rainbow

and did you find the pot of gold under the rainbow? The canal pic looks very peaceful.. Wed 22-Sep-2004 23:15

Shakespeare in the Dublin park

Famine Statue
Midsummer Nights Dream
First of my pics from my trip to Dublin.

These were both taken in St Stephens Green park - the first is the famine statue and the second was of a rather unconvential performance of Shakespeares "A Midsummer Nights Dream". Well I had never seen it before but I assume Shakespeare didn't envisage Puck in a Spiderman t-shirt or Helena in doctors scrubs?! Nice way to spend an afternoon anyway
